In doing so, we will provide a unique holistic insight into the management of patients with urological cancers relevant to those involved in caring for these patients and those studying for the FRCS(Urol) exam.

BAUS Core Urology Course 2025

This is an introductory course for trainees embarking on a career in urology. The course runs over four days (Tuesday to Friday) and consists of lectures from experts in all elements of urological practice. It provides an unrivalled opportunity to meet with experienced clinicians who can help with your development as a urologist. The course is aimed at those of ST1 - ST3 grade, or those intending to apply for training in urology in the next round of national selection.

This is a one and a half day practical course, ideal for Urology Trainees who are already undertaking or about to start training in endoscopic urology. The emphasis during the course will be hands-on training mainly on restructured animal tissue models and also Thiel embalmed human cadavers, whilst the relevant key clinical elements will be addressed by the experts in the subject areas. The course will be taught by consultant urologists. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, allowing easy exchange of ideas and experiences.
